Investment silica sol casting is a high-precision manufacturing process used to produce water pump bodies with exceptional dimensional accuracy and smooth surface finishes. The water pump body castings manufactured through this process exhibit nice corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, and durability, making them suitable for demanding applications in industries such as chemical processing, water treatment, and HVAC systems.

The silica sol investment casting process involves creating a wax pattern, coating it with multiple layers of ceramic slurry, and then dewaxing and sintering the mold before pouring molten metal. This technique eliminates the need for extensive machining, reducing material waste and production costs. Common materials used include stainless steel (CF8, CF8M), carbon steel, and duplex steel, depending on the application requirements.
